We understand that pupils’ lives, and experiences are different. As a Trust, we are attentive and responsive to their needs recognising that schools know their communities well and are best placed to support them.

We began as a group of schools with a common ethos and a passion for relational approaches. Together, we know that we are stronger in developing an inclusive education, that we can all learn from each other and that there is great strength in collaboration.

We are a ‘community of practice’ (M Ainscow 2022) and each school respects each other’s individuality. We are evidence informed. Ambition Community Trust (ACT) has a great deal of strength across all phases of education enabling sharing of practice across key stages and at points of transition.

We are outward looking and seek partnerships to enable our vision to thrive across our community. As we grew out of a collaborative mindset, we welcome any schools who wish to join our community of practice.
